By sharing experience across our global network of specialists, our teams tailor the best tested solution to fit a local client's project and help to improve communities whilst doing so.

Right now, we're looking for Graduates to join our diverse and fun team of bright professionals in London supporting projects all over the world.   

We bring inventive, trusted solutions to complex challenges in the maritime environment. Changes in global trade, a changing climate, stretched resources and the transition to a low carbon economy mean that ports and coastal communities must constantly adapt.  To meet the challenge of adaptation, we bring specialist understanding to the entire range and lifecycle of maritime infrastructure.  

As one of the world's leading building and infrastructure design consultancies, we offer clients the innovation and technical know-how to continually deliver their projects on schedule, on budget, and sustainably without compromise. Our work in maritime spans design and advisory consulting.  

We are looking for candidates with minimum of a Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Engineering Science, Environmental or Structural Engineering.

 

Civil Engineering –  Highways & Active Travel  (click here to apply) 

Available locations: Belfast

This is an exciting time for the transport sector as governments look to evolve their existing transport infrastructure to address changing travel patterns, emerging technologies and the challenges presented by climate change. Arup is playing a lead role with a range of clients, both in the UK and internationally, to develop innovative transport solutions for the future; from major highways projects to multi-modal transport solutions and active travel improvements. Around the world, we are helping national road operators plan for connected and autonomous vehicles on their networks by advising on key investment decisions, transitional commitments and trialling new technologies.    

Our core skills in the Highways & Active Travel team range from geometric alignment design, surface water drainage design and building of intelligent 3D models; through to stakeholder engagement and project management. We are looking for candidates with an appetite to develop their engineering, digital and management abilities whilst working on large multi-disciplinary projects from feasibility stage through to construction.

We are looking for candidates with a degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
