The Opportunity:
As a Graduate Lighting Designer in our Dublin office, you will be part of team that's making a tangible difference and work closely with other disciplines to deliver truly integrated and impactful solutions to our clients.
With a tailored Graduate Programme, you have the opportunity to develop your technical skills and knowledge through our structured training and mentoring programmes.
As a Graduate Lighting Designer at Arup, you will be:
- Providing lighting calculations
- Preparing renderings, drawings, and specifications
- Supporting the team with project and team administration duties
- Assisting the production of project related correspondence and reports
- Co-ordinating work with designers and engineers of other disciplines
- Attend design team meetings and present design outcomes
Does this role inspire you?:
We're looking for graduates who are working towards a Recognised Degree or Diploma In Lighting Design, Building Physics, Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering or any other relevant subject. We also value:
- Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills
- Solid Report Writing Skills
- Strong Planning and Organising Ability
- Familiarity With 3d Modelling Software and Photoshop Is Desirable; Some Knowledge of Lighting Software and of Daylight Design and Analysis would be advantageous
- Basic coding, scripting and / or digital awareness skills.
