Arup is a global consultancy with advisory and technical expertise across more than 150 disciplines. We guide, plan and design the future of the built environment. Globally, each year we recruit hundreds of graduates to help us see things differently and solve the most complex challenges facing our clients, climate and communities.

Mobility, Cities, and Infrastructure Advisory

Mobility, Cities and Infrastructure Advisory is a multidisciplinary team that brings clarity to complex urban, mobility and infrastructure challenges. We deliver high-quality, data-driven and context-aware advisory services that help clients make confident decisions and achieve sustainable, resilient outcomes for the built environment.

Our team of around 25 specialists spans three core areas: Finance and Economics, Mobility and Cities Advisory, and Geospatial Data Analytics. Together, we provide robust analysis, strategic advice and tangible solutions across urban and transport strategy, infrastructure investment, and spatial intelligence.

Operating within Arup Ireland's 100-person Advisory and Digital Services group, we support clients across Ireland and internationally, translating complexity into actionable insight and communicating with clarity for maximum impact.

Geospatial Data Analytics

Geospatial Data Analytics provides geospatial analysis and remote sensing data services, along with related consultancy, to both external clients and internal Arup teams working across the built and natural environments. We provide digital leadership focused on the design, delivery and governance of digital technology solutions and services, leveraging our capabilities in geospatial data analytics, information management, enterprise architecture, project management, and emerging technologies.

As a Geospatial Data Analytics graduate at Arup, you will:

  • Discovery of customer business requirements using Business Analysis techniques.
  • Deliver Geospatial project tasks on time and budget and to agreed quality criteria.
  • Contribute to and learn from team discussions concerning appropriate software/system architectures, applications, integrations, and automations to meet the customer's requirements.
  • Contribute to estimation of all the technical effort and technical governance effort involved in the tasks that comprise the Work Breakdown Structure, to assist in creation of project delivery cost estimates.
  • Follow appropriate technical governance guidelines for the construction of geospatial data systems.
  • Implement, document and capture and present results for the rigorous testing for the above systems according to design and governance guidelines.
  • Ensure that the Arup quality management system's processes are adhered to in the delivery of your work.
  • Contribute to the development of quality standards, acceptance criteria and validation techniques for Geospatial data solutions.
