Mobility, Cities and Infrastructure Advisory
Mobility, Cities and Infrastructure Advisory is a multidisciplinary team that brings clarity to complex urban, mobility and infrastructure challenges. We deliver high-quality, data-driven and context-aware advisory services that help clients make confident decisions and achieve sustainable, resilient outcomes for the built environment.
Our team of around 25 specialists spans three core areas: Finance and Economics, Mobility and Cities Advisory, and Geospatial Data Analytics. Together, we provide robust analysis, strategic advice and tangible solutions across urban and transport strategy, infrastructure investment, and spatial intelligence.
Operating within Arup Ireland's 100-person Advisory and Digital Services group, we support clients across Ireland and internationally, translating complexity into actionable insight and communicating with clarity for maximum impact.
Finance & Economics
Our specialist finance and economics team is comprised of a wonderful group of multi-dimensional people from various backgrounds; with a common skillset, background or interest in finance and economics. Our team is responsible for advising Clients, and internal Arup leadership, on the best course of action economically and financially from a range of policy, regulatory, technical or operational options they have at their disposal.
Our work covers a variety of sectors from Transport and Energy to Climate and Nature, and we welcome those from a diverse range of cultural, academic and professional perspectives to contribute to our collaborative team.
As a Finance & Economics graduate at Arup, you will:
- Contribute to project activities related to financial appraisals and economic analysis including cost-benefit analysis, cash-flow modelling and real-option assessment,
- Support proposal, bidding and work-winning activities led by team leadership to develop the finance and economics team pipeline of work,
- Engage in project coordination and administration tasks if required to support Finance and Economics, or wider Strategic Advisory Services Team projects,
- Undertake market analysis, research and develop financial and economic insights for Clients and internal colleagues.

- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Interest in infrastructure, transport, urban, sustainability and regional development.
