Mobility, Cities & Infrastructure Advisory
Mobility, Cities and Infrastructure Advisory is a multidisciplinary team that brings clarity to complex urban, mobility and infrastructure challenges. We deliver high-quality, data-driven and context-aware advisory services that help clients make confident decisions and achieve sustainable, resilient outcomes for the built environment.
Our team of around 25 specialists spans three core areas: Finance and Economics, Mobility and Cities Advisory, and Geospatial Data Analytics. Together, we provide robust analysis, strategic advice and tangible solutions across urban and transport strategy, infrastructure investment, and spatial intelligence.
Operating within Arup Ireland's 100-person Advisory and Digital Services group, we support clients across Ireland and internationally, translating complexity into actionable insight and communicating with clarity for maximum impact.
Mobility & Cities Advisory
The Mobility & Cities Advisory team delivers insightful and evidence-based strategic advice for clients on complex and intersecting cities and transport problems, to inform their decision making and help deliver on their aims for a sustainable future. We bring integrated thinking on transport, cities, land use, place-making, energy, decarbonisation, sustainability, behaviour change and demand management, and help to tackle some of the sector's most challenging problems; positively influencing sustainable outcomes.
As a Mobility & Cities Advisory Graduate at Arup, you will:
You will support the team across a wide range of project tasks including:
- Development of strategies and plans
- Problem identification and solving
- Research to inform policy development
- Scenario planning and options assessment
- Stakeholder and community engagement
- Market research, surveys, persona development
- Reporting, quality assurance, project controls.
You will also support proposal and tender preparation, business development activities, and team administration.

We're looking for graduates who are passionate about mobility and cities. We also value:
- Level 8 or above qualifications in a relevant discipline, including but not limited to:

- Sustainable urban development
- 1-2 years relevant experience desirable.
- Adaptable with an interest to learn on the job.
- Strong professional acumen and work ethic.
- Capable of working as part of a team as well as independently, across multiple projects.
- High interest in a career in transport, cities planning, sustainability and regional development.
- A sustainability mindset with an awareness of the economic, environmental and societal challenges facing cities.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
